    Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

    **Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students, **

    Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. Junior and Senior high students report to school on Monday, August 19th. I am looking forward to a great year with success in academics and all of the extracurricular activities offered at Del Norte JR/SR High School. Our students are truly fortunate to be supported by their community, their teachers, their coaches, and all their staff. They are incredibly fortunate to be supported by you, their families. I look forward to seeing you and visiting with you during the events at the school.****Following is information concerning the beginning of the school year:Jr/Sr High School Technology Fees must be paid by August 19thMaintenance and usage fee for MacBooks ($35.00) for grades 9-12 ****Maintenance and  usage fee for iPads ($25.00) for 7 & 8 grades ****This fee (and any outstanding fines) can be paid through the Infinite Campus Portal.     Hear ye, Hear ye! JR/SR High Registration Information

    Hello Tiger students and parents! Following is important information about registration, CHOICE applications, Concurrent enrollment , and lockerroom clean up!

    ·      Registration is open for the 2024-2025 school year. Parents of returning students need to log into their parent account on Infinite Campus and click on the ONLINE REGISTRATION link. Parents of students new to the Upper Rio Grande School District, please access the Parents link on the school website https://urtigers.co/en-US/jr-sr-high-school-7-12-425227ff  and click on New Student Registration to start the process. All students must be registered prior to the start of school on August 19th 2024. Students may not start school until registration is completed.

    ·      CHOICE application forms are available for download on the website. Students who live outside of the Upper Rio Grande School District and are wanting to enroll in Del Norte JR/SR High School must submit a CHOICE application. Please start the registration process to gain access to the Choice form and submit as soon as possible allowing time for the review of the application. Acceptance or denial for enrollment will be decided upon review.

    ·      Concurrent enrollment registration forms must be turned in no later than Aug. 14th. Interested students were provided these forms when they registered for classes prior to the end of the 2023-2024 school year.  You may mail them to school, scan them and email them to smaez@urtigers.co, or bring them to school starting on Aug 5th 2024.

    ·      Lockerroom clean up: Students and athletes need to clean out lockers in locker rooms have until July 3, 2024 to claim belongings. Open gym times are Monday through Wednesday from 4:00-6:45pm. Please come during that time to get your belongings. Anything left after July 3rd will be donated or thrown away.

    2024/2024 Preliminary Budget

    **The proposed 2024/2025 Upper Rio Grande  School District C-7 preliminary budget has been submitted to the Board of Education and is available for public inspection. The budget is available by contacting the district administrative office by phone at 719-657-4040  or emailing avelasquez@urtigers.co.**The Board of Education will consider the adoption of the proposed budget at a regular meeting to be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in the District band room, and/or via Zoom virtual meeting. Any interested taxpayer may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections thereto at any time before the adoption of the budget by the Board.
